Workspace Settings

Basic settings

On the workspace page, click the vertical three-dot icon in the upper-right corner; the menu contains a Settings option.

General

Select Settings to open the workspace settings page. On the General tab, you can view and update the workspace's own metadata:

  • The workspace name
  • The workspace's unique name in the system (cannot be changed)
  • Whether it is publicly searchable. If set to "Public", the workspace name can be found by search; if set to "Private", the workspace name does not appear in the side menu Search results.

Traffic limits

This section shows the workspace's traffic limit status, current usage, and percentage used. You can also set the maximum data volume allowed in this workspace.

  • Inbound: Data flowing into this system from outside.
  • Outbound: Data flowing out of this system. For example, pulling data into BI, AI, or an on-premises Jupyter Notebook all counts as Outbound Network.

When a workspace's usage exceeds its limit (in the example below, Inbound network usage exceeds 28 MB), the system shows a red Lock label.

If you keep using the workspace after exceeding the limit (in the example below, querying data on the SQL page), you will see a message that the usage limit has been exceeded.

4_ws_settings

Resource limits

This section limits each workspace's memory, the number of concurrent SQL queries in the workspace, and the number of queued SQL queries. After configuring, click "Save" to apply the resource limits to this workspace.
